| Description: | Fumaric Acid Chemically it is an unsaturated dicarboxylic acid. Fumaric Acid (acidulant, anti- dermatitic, anti-hepatocarcinogenic, anti-oxidant, anti-psoriac, anti-tumor) is used as a raw material for pharmaceuticals, plasticizers, synthetic resins, and also used as foodstuff additive. Fumaric acid and iron fumarate are used as special additives for animal feeds. This product is added to a variety of foods as an acidifier, curing accelerator and flavoring agent. Fumaric acid can be used as pharmaceutical intermediate and optical bleaching agent. In pharmaceutical industry, it is used to produce alexipharmic sodium dimmer captosuccinate and ferrous fumarate. Fumaric acid is also used in manufacturing unsaturated polyester resin, as intermediate for dyes, lacquers, photographic chemicals, alkyd resins, plasticizer, vehicle water, cooling systems and coatings.
